INTRODUCTiON

Rhythm is one of the essential fact for life of the living world. The biological structure of creatures is functioned by the regular rhythmic motion of their heart. A human heart must work in sixty beat per minute regularly without halting in order to be considered as a "healthy" body. Rhythm of heart determines the emotional moods of human, which beats faster or slower when man is heyecanlı, anger , happy or sad. Like it does in music.

The basic elements of music can be described as melody, harmony and rhythm. Harmony is related to define the mode of a musical piece in a vertical axis, is consisted of intervals beetween notes and chords. There is two main musical mode in Western Art Music: Major and minor. Major mode is usually used for the pieces, which are joyfull and happy. Minor mode creates more like melancholic and sad feelings, in opposition to major mode.

Melody is a linear succession of musical tones which is perceived as a single entity. So it is often said to refer to the "horizontal" aspect of music. Melody usually presents "phrasal structure" in music and are generally repeated throughout a song or piece in various forms.
