Thank you, we have received Tsujis reference list. What we know about Tsuji is that it is a leading Japanese deck equipment and scuttle manufacturer. It started shipbuilding operations in 2006. Tsuji heavy ındustries, the leading Japanese deck manufacturer which recently broke into the shipbuilding market, has filed for bankruptcy on 18.12.2008
After checking your list, the reasons for Tsujis failure are now clear. Namely, Tsuji was unable to get any orders from Japanese and Korean shipyards after 2008 and its orders from Chinese shipyards were very limited. Moreover these limited orders were not given by big and well-known companies. And after 2008, in your well-esteemed shipyard the only order was for a 4x64k (company name unknown).
Here, although we have some hesitations about the company quality, our first priority is not the production quality. More importantly, it is clear that the market value of the ship will be affected by the problems regarding the replacement parts which are not likely to be produced by the company in the future.
Also, as you may recall, during the maker selection process Tsuji was going to be removed from the list by us, but as we thought that it may grant us a better competition and bargaining power, it was decided to be kept on the list. We were expecting you to consider the aforementioned reasons and not to choose Tsuji as a maker under any circumstances. We know very well that you do not want your customers to suffer in the future.
As Densay, until today, we have succeeded to solve all your problems with Jinling with care and respect that resulted in a happy agreement on both sides. We believe that we will continue to solve your problems with the same manner in the future. As you know very well, under todays market circumstances, we do not have the means to pay for these extras. I assume that you experience similar problems with your other customers.
For these reasons, we request that you reconsider the maker decision of the shipyard with Mr. Ge and Mr. Ding and return us with an affirmative answer.
